How the calculator works

Lost jobs per month = unanswered calls per week × 4.33 weeks × share who call someone else × your close rate. Lost revenue = lost jobs × average job value. It is an estimate based on your own numbers: not every call is a new enquiry, and not every lost enquiry would have become a job. We deliberately do not quote industry averages, because we have not found a reliable source for them.
